Max Goldschmid is an award-winning soloist at every jazz festival he has been to with TJI including being presented with a multi-instumentalist solo award by Wynton Marsalis at Avery Fisher Hall (NYC). On this, his debut CD, Max plays seven instruments and composed two original songs. Max recorded this album "live" in the studio with no over-dubbing in one day and it is a remarkable musical accomplishment! TCMS owners/instructors Scott Black, Doug Tidaback, and Brice Winston are also featured together with pianist Mike Kocour, international recording artist and director of Jazz Studies at ASU; drummer Arthur Vint, a NYC resident and graduate of the Ellington Big Band in 2006; Robbie Lee, current TJI student and member of the Arizona Roadrunners, banjo player Evan Dain and trumpeter Michael Harrison.
